GSD’s latest dance show takes the stage on Saturday 30th May taking audiences on a round the world adventure. The show called Worldwide features a Parisian cafe, the Northern Lights, the depths of the Amazon rain-forest and even a trip to the Outback. Students from as young as 4 will be performing ballet, tap and modern routines that they’ve been rehearsing for months. GSD dancer Luke Todd will be making his way to the renowned Stella Mann College this Autumn after being awarded with a full scholarship. Despite only starting to learn to dance at age 14, Luke was determined to make his dreams come true. Only a handful of students are lucky enough to get the scholarship each year and they are only awarded to students who show great potential. Good luck Luke!
Congratulations are in order for two ex-pupils of Guildhall School of Dance Norwich! Tim Knight has just started his new job at the world famous Lido in Paris. Despite only starting to learn to dance at 16, Tim has enjoyed success all around the world since graduating from the Northern Ballet School. A massive well done to all the students at GSD Norwich for all the hard work and dedication that was put into 2013’s show – USA! Students showcased their talents and hard work on Saturday 1st June at the Walter Roy Theatre Norwich in two performances. We had Seaworld and Disney themed ballets, tap dancing cowboys and soldiers, Vegas showgirls, and even a lumberjack! We were also lucky enough to be featured in the EDP on 7th June 2013
